General Electric very high voltage diode array stick. This unit functions as a single diode – one of 4 in a rectifier bridge removed from a medical x-ray high voltage generator. The generator from which it was removed weighed almost 2000 lbs with a transformer inside that weighs over 1000 lbs. and had a rated output of 150,000 Volts at 1.25 Amps (1250 ma). This diode array is itself composed of 27 General Electric GE 2097 diodes in series. So, you can see it is solidly overbuilt to withstand considerably more than the rated output of the transformer. The ends of the stick have solid heavy metal termination lugs that inserted into the clips of the rectifier bridge. This is a very heavy duty diode stick far beyond the capabilities of the low current plastic strip diodes seen in common lower power x-ray transformers. It could have a wide range of uses in high voltage research and hobby applications. In order to be used at its rated voltage, this item must be fully submerged in dry insulating oil intended for high voltage applications. $59.95 each Carl

General Electric very high voltage diode array stick. These are very similar to the ones above except they do not have the heavy snap in lug terminations. Instead, they have a threaded brass lug at the base. The associated mounting hardware is in 3 pieces and have the threaded studs onto which the sticks are screwed. Two are straight and one holds 2 sticks in a "V" configuration. They must be bought in pairs. $69.95 per pair Carl

Litton PROFEXRAY very high voltage diode array stick. These are very similar to the ones above except they have a male threaded base. $29.95 each Carl
Litton PROFEXRAY Heavy duty very high voltage diode stick rated at 150,000 Volts PIV at 500 ma. $59.95 each Carl
125,000 Volt rated 300 ma rectifier strip. Pictured unit is made up of 22 Varo H-468 9000 Volt diodes in series, giving a margin of protection on the PIV. Several styles available. $19.95 eachCarl

Built to rectify 60,000 VAC, these strips contain 9 Varo H-468 9000 Volt diodes in series. $9.95 per strip. Carl

MACHLETT 100kV High Voltage Dual Bridge Rectifier. A compound bridge rectifier array containing two (2) full wave bridges (eight diodes) that cost thousands new. This unit was removed from a medical x-ray high voltage generator. The generator from which it was removed had a rated output of 100,000 Volts at 0.1 Amps (100 ma). This diode array is itself composed of 8 Machlett brand sealed 50 kV HV diodes arranged in two (2) full wave bridges on the clear Lucite plate to which the snap-in connectors are mounted. The ends of each diode stick have solid heavy metal terminations. Interestingly, they also have a male threaded rod on one end and a matching threaded hole in the other, allowing to be joined together in series for doubling, etc. the voltage rating. In order to be used at its rated voltage, this item must be fully submerged in dry insulating oil intended for high voltage applications. Due to the sealed nature of the sticks, however, they may used in open air up to many thousands of volts. $199.95Carl

MACHLETT 125kV High Voltage Bridge Rectifier. A full wave bridge (four diodes). This unit was removed from a medical x-ray high voltage generator. The generator from which it was removed had a rated output of 100,000 Volts at 0.2 Amps (200 ma). This diodes are 4 Machlett brand sealed 125 kV HV diodes. $149.95Carl
